Japanese Shiatsu massage is a traditional Japanese therapy that works on particular body points to relieve blockages in the body's energy flow and stimulate blood flow. Shiatsu is a hands on technique that uses finger and hand pressure to provide relief, usually without the use of massage oil. At Sakura Lounge we will provide our clients with loose clothing to wear during shiatsu and other dry massages.

Other therapists who were trained in Japan are not recogognised for health fund rebates. If you would like to use your health insurance you need to mention this at the time of booking so we can allocate the correct therapist. Every day we have at least one therapist who can give you a health fund rebate.
